About

Hey, what's up! Welcome to Tech-a-brel. It is a technology blog mainly concentrating on Tutorials (How to's), Reviews, Troubleshoots, Tricks, Tips about PC, Internet, Android, Blogging, Search Engine Optimization, Social Marketing etc. While writing posts in here, I always try to add a little funny flavor in it, so that you can enjoy reading stuffs, instead being bored. So I think you shouldn't take things seriously around here. First time visitors, be sure to check out our FAQ section.

The Story:

Yeah, I know it's sort of an awkward and hard to remember site name, but I started this blog out of fun purpose only. After my 11th standard exams I didn't really have anything cool to do. So I started off with a little mobile site and got a little knowledge of what HTML is. It was kinda awesome thing to do and hence I continued with it. Sooner I got in touch with other kind of platform. I came up with the basics of hosting, blogging etc. At that moment Blogger was the easiest platform I could understand. So I came up with a plan. Let's start a blog. I didn't really have any idea of any stuffs like S.E.O, Social Marketing etc. I had to select a name so I choose it randomly without agonizing even once. I had no money to buy a domain name (I still don't have it)! Hence I went on with this 'ultra-complex-disastery' kinda name.

Anyway, I posted my first blog post at 17th September. I still laugh whenever I read that one. But when I checked out that post's stats few days ago, I was pretty amazed that it got 4000 views!  Anyway, the first 6 -7 months were complete black-out. The few views that I got was merely me. I had nothing to do but gawking at it. So I decided to snag the craft of scouring my blog. I searched everywhere, tried to learn from every possible source. And I don't think, I've

Today this blog has over 25k views per month and almost all of it arrives from the search engines. I didn't place any type of advertising because it's not quite that popular yet. The only thing that I watch out while writing is the comfort level of my readers. Because if they don't exist, I don't exist.

A Little Update: Last month (September, 2014), the number of visitors has gone down to 20k. My bad, I know. Actually it's not my fault. I spent most of time chatting with her. Every bloody time I opened my PC, the phone rang. So what do I do, huh? Anyway now the exams are near, and she's busy studying (she's genius). So let's rock the stage while she's away. Hope she doesn't read my blog. :}

Powered by Blogger Attribution — How to Remove it From Your Blog?

Is that 3 word clutter making your blood boil? Then why u no remove it?  Last week I wrote a tutorial on removing the navigation bar in blogger blogs, which too, is nothing but a mess to your blog. In this post I'm gonna help you removing the 'Powered by Blogger' attribution from the footer section of your blog. In default templates and some of the custom templates, the attribution stay locked at a fixed position which is really infuriating. You can't move it, you can't delete and you go mad about that crap. Chillax, cool up your brain, and read this post. It's all up here. Now there a question comes that — Is it legal to remove the attribution from a blog? Because, it's kind of right of Blogger to place that stuff. Isn't it? Here's a way to deal with it. If you're using a custom template, then there must be a space in the footer to display the template maker's credits, right? In that space, beside the credits, you can place a link
